Emergency Social Services Association (ESSA) 2006 Annual General Meeting On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Emergency Social Services Association (ESSA), it gives me great pleasure to extend a cordial invitation for you to attend the 18th Annual General Meeting of our organization.

The AGM will be held on Tuesday, October 24th, 2006 at the Sheraton Wall Centre, 1088 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC. The doors will open at 5:30pm and the meeting will begin at 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be available.

The 18th Annual General Meeting of ESSA is a great opportunity for you to meet the current ESSA executive and the ESSA staff. While all ESS volunteers are welcome to attend the AGM, each ESSA-member community is permitted two voting delegates only. Please distribute this information to communities in your region. This meeting will be full of information about future ESSA plans, a look at the events that have transpired over the last year, as well as presentations, networking, and the opportunity to have your community vote in any elections.

Also, you may be interested to know that the 19th Annual Emergency Preparedness Conference will also be held on October 24th prior to our AGM also at the Sheraton Wall Centre.
