Disaster Psychosocial (DPS) Services – An Orientation

Carolyn is a member of the Provincial DPS Team & a member of the ESSA Advisory Council
This workshop is designed to provide an overview of what DPS is, how they deploy and what services they have to offer communities impacted by critical incidents and disasters. Participants will review the framework for delivering psychosocial support to both disaster responders and disaster survivors. This training combines elements of psychological first aid and responder resiliency learning. ESSA and EMBC will also be providing updates on current events and activities provided from ESSA and EMBC.
